The Dymax Pro-Lite is the perfect filter media that will add loads of surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize on.

Dymax Pro-Lite should be thoroughly rinsed, to remove dust, prior to being placed in aquarium equipment.
Once established, cleaning should be done regularly to remove any debris and unhealthy bacteria.
Filter material should only be cleaned using tank water since the chlorine and chloramines in tap water will kill all the beneficial bacteria needed for a healthy tank.
