L387 Orange Peckoltia Pleco Catfish

The L387 plecostomus is smaller than some of it’s giant counterparts like the Common Plecostomus and does well in a community aquarium. They a unique pattern that is almost a light yellow tan color with black markings.

The L387 is one of the most colorful loricariids known so far and thus breeders have taken them under their care. So we can now offer this species in relative good numbers. Maximum length reported for L387 is around 15 cm. Keeping is easy, but one should keep in mind that these fishes prefer slightly higher temperatures of about 25-29°C.
