Directions for Use:

1. First, calculate the volume of your aquarium or pond.
2. Then, Use 6 drops per 37.85 L (10 U.S. gallons). Use 2.5 mL (1/2 tsp) per 114L (30 U.S. gallons). Use 5 ml (1 tsp) per 227.1L (60 U.S. gallons). Easy measuring: the 4 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz bottle caps are approximately 5 mL volume.
3. Repeat the dose every three days until the algae is controlled.
4. Add Algae Clean Out to a sump or high flow area of the the tank for best results.
5. Manually remove as much algae as possible before and after treatment.
6. Perform a water change 1-2 days after treatment to remove excess nutrients.
7. If possible, turn aquarium lights off to further inhibit algae growth.
8. Lastly, test for ammonia, nitrites, and phosphates with reliable test kits as dying algae may release these nutrients back into the water column.

Note:

Avoid overdosing, and ensure adequate aeration during treatment. Also, do not use it with FRESHWATER INVERTEBRATES including: snails, shrimp, clams, other crustaceans or molluscs; remove these types of livestock before dosing.
